Sybarite UK

Architectural and design practice, Sybarite UK has come up with a radical approach for housing units in a rural setting by seriously beefing up the common treehouse.

It's kind of neat, but it's very "look at me" -- literally. England hasn't got much forest left at all, and people might want to actually look at forest rather than somebody's ego trip shining blindingly out of the greenery.

It's something we face here in the Catskill Mountains. There are more limits now, but when we look at the glory of the mountains we're forced to see the trophy homes intruding onto the slopes of some of the mountains.

The concept of the "viewshed" is one many of us take seriously.

Carol--

Good points. I take it you're siding with the hobbits' approach.
